Sisters of the Great Lakes: Art of Native American Women

This special exhibit visually addresses the complexities of being an American Indian in the modern world through diverse artwork including pottery, stained glass, paintings, sculpture, quill work and black ash basketry. Guided tours offered Saturdays at 2 pm starting Oct. 11. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.

Sisters of the Great Lakes artists Lois Beardslee (Ojibwa) and Yvonne Walker-Keshick (Odawa/Ojibwa) discuss their work from 1-2 pm in the Museum auditorium, then meet the public and offer examples of their work for sale. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.
