Neetôpáwees: Dolls as Ambassadors of Native Culture

The Pequot Museum presents Neetôpáwees: Dolls as Ambassadors of Native Culture, a new exhibit featuring historic and contemporary dolls from the Museum’s collection; fun, family-friendly activities; and a new film featuring interviews with six local Native doll makers. Dolls are more than just for play; they are childhood friends, treasured keepsakes, and representatives of our lives in miniature.  Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members. Developed and produced by the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center. Neetôpáwees: Dolls as Ambassadors of Native Culture was funded by The Pepsi Bottling Group.
