GIFTS OF THE
LAND & WATERS CELEBRATION

Creepy Crawlies, puppet theater, games, environmental displays are just part of the fun during this traditional Native celebration of nature and spring. The New England Reptile & Raptor's exhibit features frogs, turtles, snakes and salamanders to see and touch - plus there are fishing games, butterfly art craft table, tips on backyard ecology and gardening the natural way, Native artists offering their wampum jewelry and other creations. Puppet Play "If I Catch It Can I Eat It?" is at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm in the auditorium. Backyard Conservation Program at 10:45 am and 12:45 pm in auditorium: (see description below)
Two days of fun for the whole family from 10 to 3 pm in the Gathering Space, free with admission, free to museum members.

ENHANCING HABITAT USING
NATIVE TREES, SHRUBS
AND WILDFLOWERS:

USDA Resource Conservationist Vivian Felten and DEP biologist Peter Picone outline in this illustrated presentation how to create habitat for songbirds, hummingbirds and butterflies by landscaping naturally and providing food and cover for these beautiful creatures. At 10:45 am and 12:45 pm in the auditorium.
