Free Admission for Kids
Take advantage of free admission to the Museum for children 15 and younger on the first Saturday of the month. Stop by the Gathering Space from 11 am to 3 pm to make lanterns to light the darkness ($5). Cannot be combined with any other offer for discounted adult admission rates.

Behind-the-Scenes Pequot Village Tour

Members Only. Research Director Kevin McBride and exhibit designer Mike Hanke kick off our 15th anniversary year with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Pequot Village exhibit and the amazing story of how it was created. Fry Bread Sundae Social & Scavenger Hunt

See the Museum in a new way while hunting for clues. If you finish the hunt – a fry bread sundae is yours! The Fry Bread Sundae Bar is open from 1-3 pm. Winter Survival Skills

Senior Researcher Dr. Jason Mancini and Museum staff, explain what foods were commonly dried or smoked for winter use and how those foods were prepared. From 1-2 pm, Jason leads a winter ethnobotany walk to locate and identify important foods for winter survival. Bring snowshoes if there is sufficient snow. Limited to 25. Monthly Beading Circle
