Artist meet and greet, Nov. 5 from 1-3 p.m. 

WHERE: Pequot Museum, 110 Pequot Trail, Mashantucket, Conn. 

WHY: View and purchase original, handcrafted works by renowned Native artists. 

Curated by New England artisan Angel Beth Smith (Narragansett), this show features a variety of one-of-a-kind works in textile, jewelry, acrylics, oils, mixed media and more. The exhibit showcases a dozen area artists including Mashantucket Pequot’s very own Josh Carter, Ariel Merrill, Willow Casanova-Colebut, and Dawn Millner.  

Each piece is assigned a minimum bid and a “purchase now” price, so visitors may acquire an item prior to the silent auction close on Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. Artwork will remain on display until Nov. 30.
