The first New England stop of RACE: Are We So Different? will be at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center from May 17–September 6, 2008

The RACE Project at MPMRC, an exhibit and program initiative will contribute to the ongoing national conversations on race and racism and enrich them by exploring the complex histories of diversity and discrimination in Indian Country

Bringing RACE to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum is an exciting challenge for our 10th anniversary year!  It is an important opportunity to join and enrich the national conversations on race through explorations of diversity, racial prejudice, and the civil rights movement in Native communities throughout the United States.

This exhibit is free with regular museum admission and free to museum members.
The Museum is open daily from 10am–4pm with last admission sold at 3pm.

Special Note: The Museum will be closing early on June 19th 2008 at Noon, with the last admission at 11:00 AM, and on August 26th at 2:00 PM with the last admission at 1:00 PM.
