Witness to a Genocide & The Aftermath of Colonialism

Saturday, May 23, 2026 @ 4:00 PM

As the nation celebrates it’s 250th birthday, we invite you to join us in a conversation about one of the most significant historical events that provided the path for this land to be known as the United States of America, the Pequot War.

Our focus in this dialogue will be on the John Mason Statue and its removal from the site of the Mystic Massacre. Join us as we explore the process it took for the removal and how such monuments fit into our current culture.
