In June we celebrate our Strawberry Moon here in Mashantucket.
The Pequot Museum held its First Annual Strawberry Moon Farmer’s Market on June 15, 2024.
The market kicked-off to summer, unifying and showcasing indigenous and non-indigenous farmers, crafters and culture for a family-friendly day full of activities.
Throughout the day we offered programs and events that provided important information about eastern woodland culture and lifeways.
Admission to the marketplace was free!
